Franklin Township: Winter Clothing Drive Starts Today

SOMERSET, NJ – Members of the public are encouraged to donate clothes to Assemblyman Joe Danielsen’s (D-17) “Head to Toe” winter clothing drive.

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to host our annual backpack drive this year.  Instead, we will be helping those children who are most in need with this socially distanced clothing drive,” Danielsen said in a news release. “The collective kindness and generosity shown by the wonderful residents, businesses, and social organizations bring unity to our community and provides the tools needed by children to succeed in life.”

Winter items being sought include hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, and socks, and the clothing drive will last from today through February 15, 2021.
