Liverpool and Nike have teamed up once again to create a new stunning clothing collection, but there’s a catch, as it will only available in FIFA 21.
The Reds entered into a long-term partnership with Nike at the start of August to become the club’s official kit supplier. The campaign to launch the new kit included an online advert that was filmed in the city itself with the Tell Us Never commercial seeing Nike introducing a global audience to the ‘Republic of Liverpool’.
But the Reds and Nike have now created a brand new stunning collection, called Liverpool x Nike, that’s only available on FIFA 21, with the clothing range set to be available in the Volta Football game mode.

Volta Football was a brand new game mode first added to the FIFA gaming series in FIFA 20, which is essentially a remake of the highly popular FIFA Street gaming series, but is instead included within the full FIFA gaming title.
The mode is, EA say, ‘inspired by the small-sided form of football played in the streets, cages and futsal courts across the world’. There are a number of ways to play Volta on FIFA 21, including Volta Squads, Featured Battles, 3v3 Rush (No GKs), 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5 and Professional Futsal.
As shown on the official EA SPORTS website, there are a number of different Liverpool x Nike clothing items that will available within Volta Football on FIFA 21, with caps, training tops, training joggers, shorts, tops and jackets all shown.
This is how EA describe the Liverpool x Nike clothing collection on the EA SPORTS website.
“Liverpool FC. A place where miracles come for their big night out.
“When they hear ‘never’, it’s already done. Nike produced their first-ever Liverpool kit starting with the 2020-21 season. When you think of their playing style, ‘Just Do It’ comes to mind.
“It’s a surprise LFC x Nike didn’t happen earlier.”
Reds fans should be able to get hold of this kit in-game through the VOLTA SHOP, to see what’s available and unlock the latest gear by completing in-game objectives ladders, or by using the VOLTA COINS you collect via matches and tournaments within Volta Football.
You can unlock items by completing gameplay challenges or by using your VOLTA COINS which are earned by completing matches. The higher the difficulty, the higher the rewards.
EA SPORTS announced a multi-year deal with Liverpool as their official video game partner last year, with defender Virgil van Dijk featuring on the cover of last year’s Champions Edition version of FIFA 20.
And with Liverpool having a remarkable 2019/20 campaign, in which they won the Premier League, the Reds are once again featuring heavily in the latest FIFA gaming title, FIFA 21.
For FIFA 21, Liverpool have a clothing range featured on Volta Football, have Reds full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold featured as a FUT Ambassador and the defender has also led to a brand new feature on the game.
New for FIFA 21, cover star Kylian Mbappé, Diplo, Thierry Henry, Eric Cantona, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Anthony Joshua will all be accessible as avatars to fans in Volta Football. The mode will also feature in-game apparel drops by renowned fashion brands like Adidas and Nike.
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has also designed a clothing collection for Volta in FIFA 21, with the Gunners full-back also being named as a Creative Director for the game mode.
FIFA 21 will launch in the UK and worldwide on October 9, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. but If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition you’ll be able to play from October 6. The EA Play, Play First Trials will start on October 1.
And it has also been confirmed that when you purchase FIFA 21 on Xbox, PS4 or PC, you’ll have access to something called Dual Entitlement in regards to upgrading to next-gen consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox One Series X.
