Most of the stars who find themselves on this week’s roundup of unfortunate outfits made one fatal fashion flaw: they trusted their own personal style a little too much. Confidence and fashion are a match made in heaven, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get to have a fight every now and then.
Kristen Stewart expressed her personality by shaving her head and wearing a corset over her pants; Halsey wore a belt as a shirt; and Celine Dion’s dress had a bow so big she could probably use it to go kite sailing.
When we said we wanted to be more adventurous with our style this year, this isn’t what we meant. But seeing celebrities do it is totally entertaining.

Aimee Carrero
You’ll recognize Aimee from Young & Hungry. With this dress, we can’t decide if she looks too young, or not young enough. Either way, it’s making us hungry for some better fashion. This outfit should read more mature, but for some reason it makes 28-year-old Aimee look more like 13.Getty Images

Honestly, we’d rather Allison wear one of her Dancing with the Stars costumes than this dress. The proportions are terrible, and we’ve never seen a yellow and blue floral look so dour. Bea’s come a long way since we first saw her on X Factor, but we think her style could stand to evolve a little bit more. It looks a bit like she got creative wrapping her silk sheets for a toga party. We like the creativity, but the head-to-toe pale silk doesn’t work as bell bottoms and a crop top.Getty Images

We actually really like the top of this dress, and we absolutely love Brie’s hair, but what ruins this look for us is the way the bottom of the dress is so cylindrical. The hemline also hits a weird length, which only makes the dress look even more like a tube of wrapping paper.Getty Images

Whatever this fabric is, it looks luxe and we love it. The giant bow on her shoulder, though, not so much. It’s so huge and floppy, and just doesn’t need to be there. Celine should rip it off and just put on a belt or a necklace instead.Getty Images

Between the hair, the giant earrings, and the silk with cut outs, we wouldn’t blame you if you mistook Christina for early 2000s Ciara. The problem with this look is that it’s out of date, and it feels like we’ve seen it before. We have to say, though, the green complements Christina’s skin tone amazingly.Getty Images
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato may be smouldering here — that makeup is seriously sexy — but that doesn’t stop her from looking like a cross between a robot and a baked potato. Even her jewelry and shoes look like they’ve been dipped in silver (or wrapped in tinfoil). So shiny! Getty Images

Elisha’s skirt is fine, but the top doesn’t seem to go with the rest of the outfit at all. The grey fabric reminds us of a sweater and the wrap detail doesn’t do anything to make it seem more sophisticated. If anything, it makes it look even more like the slouchy sweater you wear on days when you don’t plan on leaving the house.Getty Images

We actually think this a cool look, and very Halsey, but she’s on this list because that boob belt makes us anxious. First of all, it would have to be super tight to stay up, and second, it looks uncomfortable to wear.Getty Images

The stripes in Heidi Klum’s striped dress are quite bold, but they overshadow her features and come across like a giant hazard sign. The direction of the stripes in both the top and bottom also set something off in our brain. It’s like it’s screaming: Warning! Warning! Do not wear!Getty Images

Few people can make a platinum blond buzzcut work, but Kristen’s definitely pulling it off. What she isn’t pulling off is the awkward half corset thing attached to the top of her pants. It reminds us of a waist trainer, and looks like it’s meant to be covered up.Getty Images

Recently Nicole has been rocking her flowery style in a more toned down and palatable way, and we’ve loved it. It was inevitable, however, that she would return to the over the top sweetness of yesteryear. This dress is so sweet we’re getting a toothache.Getty Images

It’s awesome that Noah has such a distinctive style that we instantly recognize even though she’s fresh on the scene. Less awesome is what this actual look consists of.
