Vikramjeet Virk is popularly known for his badass role in the heist movie Drive, wherein he starred along with Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez.
He has also been a model in the past. Having done film projects in four different regional film industries which include Hindi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Telugu, his acting skills have always been versatile.
However, what’s even more fascinating is his transitional sense of style which keeps changing from one film to the next. With his signature beard, he’s tried a couple of different looks already in the past years.
We caught up with the actor to learn more about his transitional sense of style.
1. What is your personal style statement like?
I think that keeping things simple and authentic is the way to go.
2. Who is your style icon?
It would definitely be Chris Hemsworth. Especially after he played Thor and his look entirely changed in Thor: Ragnarok, that was a complete game-changer.
I personally loved both the looks, the one inspired by Norse mythology, and the other one with a modern twist to it.
3. What’s your go-to date night outfit?
I think it would be a pair of comfortable denim jeans and a plain t-shirt with a pair of converse shoes. I would much rather focus on the date.
4. One wardrobe staple that you can’t do without?
I think everyone should have a traditional yet flowy pair of white kurta-pajama in their wardrobe.
5. What’s the one fashion trend you don’t understand?
I don’t get the trend of harem pants for men.
6. Boots or sneakers?
I can’t choose between the two.
7. Minimalism or maximalism?
It would definitely be minimalism. Keeping things simple goes a long way.
8. A fashion trend that you like?
I love the monotone trend wherein you can dress in a particular colour and maintain that throughout the outfit. To that effect, I never mind a head-to-toe black look. I think it goes with my beard and would be my signature look.
9. Can you talk about your signature beard style? Can you talk about your beard grooming routine?
I love my beard. I can’t imagine myself without a mid-length, well-groomed beard. I don’t have an elaborate beard grooming routine, especially in the pandemic. I regularly trim it from time to time and that’s about it.
